Biography
Tisha Hasan is a lawyer with Cheadles LLP and practices in the area of family law. Her practice includes child protection and custody disputes.
Tisha graduated with her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2021. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto double majoring in Criminology and Equity studies with a focus on disability and critical race theory. Tisha also holds a minor in Woman and Gender Studies.
Originally from Toronto, Tisha moved to Thunder Bay to pursue her interests in equity and social justice. Her passion is to advocate for marginalized groups and for individuals who are unable to advocate for themselves such as families and children in crisis. As a summer and placement student at Cheadles LLP, Tisha assisted in various family law matters. She understands that individuals, families and children face many challenges when entering the legal system. Tisha strives to be a compassionate, empathetic, committed and fearless advocate for her clients.
Tisha is also a passionate advocate of inclusion, community capacity building and promotion of individuals with disabilities. She is a volunteer with the Down Syndrome Association of Toronto and runs monthly programs for adults with disabilities. She is also a board member of Community Living Thunder Bay, which endeavours to promote the rights and quality of life of persons with intellectual disabilities.
Tisha is an amateur foody and enjoys cooking, reading, painting, playing board games and spending time with family and friends.

Biography
Karson joined Cheadles LLP as an Associate Lawyer in 2021. He practices in multiple areas of law including real estate, wills and estates, and corporate commercial. As a law student, Karson completed his Practice Placement and worked during the summer, with Cheadles LLP.
Karson was born and raised in Northwestern Ontario and is proud to call the District of Thunder Bay home. In 2012, he first completed a diploma in welding at Confederation College and then continued his education at Lakehead University where he attained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. He then joined the class of 2021 at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University, successfully obtaining a Juris Doctor.
While obtaining his law degree, Karson took part in the Ontario Trial Lawyers Moot, where he and his team placed first in the mock trial competition, bringing home the OTLA Cup to Lakehead University. He also volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, where he created a brochure to help community members navigate the legal system after the tragic loss of a loved one.
Outside of his career, Karson enjoys a healthy active lifestyle and loves spending time with family and friends. He especially likes to take part in many of the activities Thunder Bay has to offer, such as snowboarding, mountain biking and playing hockey.

Biography
Jeremy is an associate lawyer at Cheadles LLP and a member of the firm’s litigation team. He assists clients with contractual matters, labour and employment issues, construction claims, property disputes, and estate litigation. Jeremy is committed to providing his clients with cost-efficient legal services, and he works closely with them to address their unique situations.
A proud Thunder Bayer, Jeremy first joined Cheadles LLP as a summer student while in law school. He then articled with the firm before being called to the Bar of Ontario.
Jeremy earned his law degree at the University of Ottawa, graduating with distinction in 2022. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, summa cum laude, from the University of North Dakota. Attending on an athletic scholarship, Jeremy was a member of North Dakota’s Division I golf team. He served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons.
In his free time, Jeremy enjoys golfing, cheering on his Toronto Maple Leafs, and spending time with his family and friends.

Sabrina Gunter is a member of Cheadles’ Litigation Group with a broad civil litigation practice. She works in employment and labour law, insurance defence, insurance claim denials, commercial litigation and landlord-tenant disputes. She also has experience in plaintiff-side personal injury matters, including police negligence, sexual assault, motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice.
Sabrina has a strong background in legal research and is adept at quickly adapting to new practice areas to assist clients who are facing novel or complex legal issues. She offers an advocacy style that is both empathetic and efficient, ensuring clients feel supported while their matters are advanced with care and diligence.
Sabrina earned her J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University. During her education, she gained extensive advocacy experience through mooting and debate, and she credits that experience with laying the foundation for her advocacy today. During her time at Western Law, Sabrina assisted on civil, family law and landlord and tenant matters through her involvement with Community Legal Services.
Originally from Toronto, Sabrina recently relocated to Thunder Bay and looks forward to exploring the beauty of Northern Ontario. Outside of her practice, Sabrina is a novice crocheter, an avid reader and is always planning her next adventure.
