Sabrina Gunter is a member of Cheadles’ Litigation Group with a broad civil litigation practice. She works in employment and labour law, insurance defence, insurance claim denials, commercial litigation and landlord-tenant disputes. She also has experience in plaintiff-side personal injury matters, including police negligence, sexual assault, motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice.
Sabrina has a strong background in legal research and is adept at quickly adapting to new practice areas to assist clients who are facing novel or complex legal issues. She offers an advocacy style that is both empathetic and efficient, ensuring clients feel supported while their matters are advanced with care and diligence.
Sabrina earned her J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University. During her education, she gained extensive advocacy experience through mooting and debate, and she credits that experience with laying the foundation for her advocacy today. During her time at Western Law, Sabrina assisted on civil, family law and landlord and tenant matters through her involvement with Community Legal Services.
Originally from Toronto, Sabrina recently relocated to Thunder Bay and looks forward to exploring the beauty of Northern Ontario. Outside of her practice, Sabrina is a novice crocheter, an avid reader and is always planning her next adventure.
