Cody Fraser

Cody is a lawyer at Cheadles LLP where he works in multiple areas of law, focusing on real estate law, wills and estates, Aboriginal law, municipal law, and corporate law.

Cody was born and raised in Thunder Bay and is active within the community. He was elected to Thunder Bay City Council (Neebing Ward) for the 2018-2022 term and sits on many committees and boards in his capacity as councilor.

In law school, Cody was selected by his peers to be the Valedictorian of the graduating class of 2019. During his undergraduate studies Cody was active in the Lakehead University Student Union and was a member of the Lakehead University Senate. During law school and undergraduate studies, Cody worked in Indigenous business consulting and worked as a project support person for a government led commission known as the Far North Electoral Boundaries Commission. Through his work and education, Cody has gained a unique skill set and is knowledgeable in the intricacies of First Nation-Crown relations and business-government relations.
