Tisha Hasan joined Cheadles LLP as a summer student in May 2020. She has completed her second year of law school at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and is now entering her third year. Tisha will complete her Integrated Practice Curriculum placement at the firm in the winter of 2021.
Tisha holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto double majoring in Criminology and Equity studies with a focus on disability and a minor in Woman and Gender.
Originally from Toronto, Tisha moved to Thunder Bay to pursue her interests in equity and social justice. Her passion is to advocate for marginalized groups and for individuals who are unable to advocate for themselves.
Tisha is also a passionate advocate of inclusion, community capacity building and promotion of individuals with disabilities. She is a volunteer with the Down Syndrome Association of Toronto and runs monthly programs for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Tisha is an amateur foody and enjoys cooking, reading, playing board games and spending time with family and friends.
